Code of Hammurabi
Hammurabi created a set of laws to organize Babylon.
The duties of justices are primarily outlined in the Constitution, specifically in Article III, which establishes the judicial branch of the U.S. government. Additionally, the roles and responsibilities of justices are further defined by federal laws, court rules, and precedents established through judicial decisions. State constitutions and laws also specify the duties of justices in state courts.
