I believe they put a note on the end of a fishing pole and put it inside a window of Boo's house.
They will sneak in Boo's back yard and look through his window to spot Boo.
The Boo Radley game was created in Chapter 4 of the novel "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee.
Jem and Dill hatch a plan to leave a note for Boo in the Radley's window, using a fishing line. The note will ask him to come out sometimes and tell them what he's doing inside, and that they won't hurt him and will buy him ice cream. Dill says he wants Boo to come out and sit with them for a while, as it might make the man feel better.
The answer is in Chapter 5.
In chapter 31, boo says to Scout in a whisper "will you take me home?" this is the only thing Boo ever said in To Kill A Mockingbird.

Actually, Yes.. if your intestines are "backed up" you can have Bile come out of your mouth...
If it does, it might be time to see a doctor.
In chapter 8 Atticus learns about Jem and Scout communicating with Boo Radley through the knothole. Atticus tells the children not to tell anyone that they had seen and been in contact with boo.
Stephanie Crawford gossips about Boo Radley in Chapter 1 of "To Kill a Mockingbird."
