The Waters of Mars is about Bowie Base One in 2059. The Doctor arrives there on accident and soon learns he has arrived on 21.11.2059 - the date of the Base's destruction. Consisting of nine crewmembers, the Doctor learns things are getting worse as a mutagenic water virus named the Flood is infecting crewmembers. Only two crewmembers survive the episode.
