Not usually, but some private schools do have uniforms.
No not at all. Most, if not all schools have dress codes. Some are stricter than others. Some schools require uniforms to be worn but many do not. It just simply means that the kids who are not in uniforms go to a school that does not require them to wear uniforms.
Yes, but only in private and catholic schools. They can choose what they want to wear if they go to a public school.

You know, going to a private school and having a uniform is more of a status thing, and it doesn't make you smarter; a person who has a public education can have the same amount of ambition and intelligence as a person who is "privledged" enough to go to an expensive private school.I have seen a lot of school uniforms and some are smart and some are not. Wearing a school uniform will not make you more intelligent. Both private and state schools can opt to have uniforms or not have uniforms. Often school councils want uniforms and are involved in its design. There is no evidence that introducing a school uniform will improve school performance.
Yes they do. I go to a uniformed school and I can honestly say that the difference between my other school and the one I go to now is quite noticeable. Many children are bullied because of what they wear and how they wear it and sometimes these cases of bullying can turn into an very violent problem. But with school uniforms everyone looks the same. Uniforms help to establish equality in schools and do so quite effectively. Not to mention kids don't have to worry about catching up with the latest styles of clothing to show off to friends at school.
No not all schools do i wear uniform now and always have but i use to go to a school that i didnt have to wear uniform x
nope i go there n high school n middle school dont!
Most schools in Australia are state or public schools, meaning that there is no charge for children to attend. There are still costs of textbooks and uniforms. There are also large numbers of private schools throughout Australia. These may range in annual fees from about $7,000 to up to $15,000 - possibly more in some elite schools.
23% of schools in America do have uniform.
Public Schools
National schools normally refer to primary schools, where children go up to the age of about 12. After that they go to secondary school.
