I think it's just human, but I'm only 95% sure. You see, a lot of people must have seen animal death, but less have seen human... Again, I'm only 95% sure! I'd have to agree. I think it's only human because many of the students at Hogwarts are sure to have seen an animal die before, but JK Rowling never mentioned them being able to see threstals.
