How long do Howrse competitions take?
You have to wait until a total of five horses have joined the race. Then you have to wait a few minutes for the race to complete.
Do dressage horses eat different from race horses?
Yes they do because race horses eat things that make them have a little bit more energy. Sometimes, most commonly do. It really depends on the horse. Like the person above me said, they add more energy to the feed, a horse may be rearing and ready to go that day, or night before, so they actually do normal feed. A dressage horse is just about the same as a race horse, they both do a lot of work, so they still need the energy.
Can horses be trained?
Yes horses are smart and very trainable animals. If they were not relatively easy to train humans would not have domesticated them and used them for millennia.
Can blind thoroughbreds race?

The amount of equus available in your competition's kitty is determined by the prestige of the race. To increase the prestige, and therefore the kitty, attract higher skilled horses to run in it.
What kind of horse should you use for barrel racing?
The quarter horse is the most commonly used barrel racing horse. However, any horse used for most western things can do it, like paints. Any horse can barrel race actualy, just horses built like a quarter horse are the best because they have a nice power house in the hind quarters that let them jump into a run easily, and the build also allows for turning on a dime.
