At the end of chapter 5: Beast from Water Piggy told Ralph how he felt about Jack, I quote... "He hates me. I dunno why. If he could do what he wanted--- you're alright, he respects you. Besides-- you'd hit him." Piggy also said... "I tell you what. He hates you too, Ralph---" And... "He can't hurt you: but if you stand out of the way he'd hurt the next thing. And that's me."
Piggy explains to Ralph that Jack can be very dangerous to anyone who opposes his authority or challenges his leadership. Jack's thirst for power and control over the other boys on the island makes him a threat to anyone who stands in his way.
Piggy and Ralph are both characters in Lord of the Flies. The problem with Piggy and Ralph's plane is that it goes down and there are no grown-ups around to care for them.
Piggy voted for Ralph to be chief in the novel "Lord of the Flies" by William Golding.

Ralph ridicules it as pointless by saying "yes and then we could build a radio and a televison." When Piggy explains that all you need is a stick to make a sundial Ralph tells Piggy to, "Shut up."
Ralph admired Piggy only in the end, once he wept for him. He admired him for remaining civilized and intellectual. Otherwise, it was Piggy who admired Ralph. Hope this helped!

Piggy is loyal because he stays by Ralph's side and is dedicated to helping him. He sees that Ralph is the good rightful leader.
When Ralph squirted water at Piggy, while they were bathing, Piggy simply said, "Mind my specs..." However when Ralph did it a second time Piggy beat the water with his hands and shouted, "Stop it! Did You hear me?"
He voted for Ralph "grudgingly".
Piggy didn't vote for Ralph in "Lord of the Flies" because he was a loyal supporter of rules and order. He believed that Ralph's leadership qualities were essential for the group's survival on the island. Piggy valued logic and reason, and saw Ralph as the best candidate to lead the boys.
