In Mafia Wars Do your mafia members use your inventory or theirs when you fight?

We all use our own inventories. But we need mafia members to use the stuff in the inventory. For example, a mafia member can only drive a car. So if you have 20 cars but you only have 10 mafia members, you'll only fight with 10 cars. :)

Yes, only one of each category can be used per mafia member in a fight or robbery. However, the list of items used for attacking and being attacked is not the same (at less all your inventory happens to have the same attack and defense numbers).

When you are robbing in Mafia Wars both higher and lower level members help. Anyone from your mafia can help you rob and fight no matter what their level. Found the answer myself while robbing. The number of mafia members you can bring is whatever your current level is. So if you are level 50 you can rob with 50 of your mafia. Once you get lvl 51 you could bring 51 mafia. When I first read about robbing they said something like you can bring with you mafia up to your level, and I took that to mean your mafia members level. But after watching how many mafia I attacked with I noticed my mafia's level didn't matter. Whatever level you have achieved, you will bring that many mafia to rob with you.

Each of yer mafia members can wield one weapon, one armor and use one vehicle. the added sum of all the members of you mafia with your equipment will be the one that's compared to the opponents stats on the same field, to calculate who wins a fight So simply; no, weapons don't stack more then the amount of mafia members you have; so getting 100 knives will only be good if you have 100 mafia members, tho then you might aswell get a better weapons since the total stats is the importance.

By fighting anyone on mafia wars. But if you want to get more points - pick tougher targets: people above your level and people with 501 members. If you are picking weak players, it does not pay as much in terms of points.
