Jesus taught that he came not to abolish the Law given to Moses, but to fulfill it. He emphasized the importance of obeying God's commandments and living according to the principles of love and righteousness. Jesus also taught that the true intent and spirit of the Law were more important than merely following its external rules and regulations.
