He isn't the same race obviously, but yes, he is. He is one of their leaders.
Ridley is not just in super metroid he's in all metroid games apart from metroid 2. He is a rather large pterodactyl like creature who is extremeley smart. He is also the arch enemy of Samus Aran and a very high ranking space pirate
Ridley led a Space Pirate raid on Samus' planet, and then destroyed everything on the planet. Somehow, Samus lived and the Chozo found her and all that jazz. Whoo.
Ridley is the wierd flying dragon named Ridley X in Metroid Fusion.
there are lots of different forms of ridley from metroid the most common is the regular one from the first three metroids (But he only appears in metroid and super metroid) and there is the mecha ridley from prime 1 but there is only truly five forms these might be wrong but here they are: 1.) ridley 2.) meta ridley (From Metroid prime one the space pirates took Ridley mangled body and turned him into a metal from of his formal self) 3.) "Little Birdie" (the fuzz ball that looks like a bird mixed with a bunny/rabbit from metroid other M the genetically mutated form of ridley the galactic federation made on the "Bottle Ship") 4.) adolescent Ridley ( the purple fox/dog thingy with the tail that has a sharp tip on it the evolved form of "Little Birdie" also from other M) 5.) cloned Ridley ( When Ridley "Died" after Prime one i believe because prime one takes place right after the first metroid the Space pirate's remade a clone of him to kill Samus and to have a ruler over them.) Now some people might disagree with me but this is to my understanding of the different "Forms" of Ridley so for all you metroid fan boys and girls if you want to change it go right ahead.
While Ridley isn't actually in Metroid Fusion, an X-parasite that has copied the body and abilities of Ridley is seen in the game. Ridley was captured by the GFS and was being studied when the X escaped on the B.S.L. space station and killed most of the living things on the station, including Ridley.
Ridley is from the Metroid series. He appeared in the very first Metroid game and several games thereafter.
nothing. it dies after that.
Samus' parents were killed when she was very young, by a creature called Meta Ridley, a Mechanical Dragon that I believe was being operated by the Space Pirates. In Metroid Prime, one of the final bosses is Meta Ridley, it is at this time where Samus gets her revenge. Ridley actually killed her parents; Meta Ridley was an improved form of Ridley after he was defeated by Samus.
near the end of the game (where the omega space pirate is)
Samus and Ridley are the only two who consistently appear in every game (except for Metroid Fusion. That Ridley was actually an X-Parasite).
You have to beat Kraid and Ridley.
in the space pirate homeworld on the mining section. it is in the nova chamber
