Frax betrays Ransik in the episode called "Frax's Fury". Actually Frax was never on Ransik's side. In "The Time Shadow" Frax built a robot and attacked the city in hopes of conquering it. Frax is really a human that Ransik tried to kill, but he survived and was on the brink of death, so he rebuilt himself. He took advantage of his new form to join Ransik's team as a loyal robot servant. If you watch all Power Rangers Time Force episodes you will notice Frax's hatred of mutants.
