What was Shrek?
Shrek was about a ogre by the name of Shrek who's swamp is overun by fairy tale creatures. He finds a compainion, Donkey, and goes out to complain to Lord Farquaad. When they finally make to the kingdom, Lord Farquaad says that he will remove the creatures if Shrek fetches a princess from a castle for him to marry. Shrek make it to the castle and narrowly avoids being killed by a draon when Donkey starts complementing it and finds out its a girl dragon. They take Princess Fiona from the castle and make their way back to Lord Farquad. Throughout the journey Princess Fiona and Shrek start finding out that they have a lot in common espicially when the princess beat the whole Robin Hood gang in a fight. When they finally make it to Lord Farquaad he says that the creatures had been removed and sent Shrek on his way. Shrek later sends Donkey away to live with Dragon who he had been having a relationship with since they had met at the castle. Feeling horrible remorse, Shrek went back to the kingdom to stop the marriage and to say that he had feelings for Princess Fiona also. When the wedding was stopped right before the princess said "I do" Lord Farquaad laughed atthe thought that the ogre thought he had a chance with his princess. Then Fiona said that she was holding a secret to and was immediately overwhelmed by sunlight. The blinding light was too great to look at but when it died down standing in the middle of the church was a female ogre. Lord Farquaad was furious at this change and sentenced Shrek and Princess Fiona to be killed. As soon as the guards were about tokill them however Donkey and Dragon burst through the door! Dragon ate Lord Farquaad and caused the other knights to flee. shrek and Princess Fiona later got married and they lived hapily ever after!
