There is no in-game cheats menu. Basically all that you do is pause the game and enter the code onto the screen, making sure you are following the directions the cheat code says. Most of the cheat codes require you to hold down R1, R2, L1, and L2 (PS2) before entering the code. Don't worry what the screen does while you are typing in your code, just listen for the ding noise after you type it in so you know the cheat was activated.
