What did padme' do to kill herself?

Anakin became Darth Vader, so the one Padme loved was lost to the Dark Side. She fully recoved from being choked, but still died from a broken heart.

**More specifically she died during the birth of Luke and Leia, but was weakened significantly by Anakin's betrayal and also the exhaustion of childbirth.

Padme' Amidala was the Former Queen of Naboo, Galactic Senator, and secretly married the troubled Anakin Skywalker. When Padme' learned of Anakin's chose to join the Dark Side (while she was pregnant with Luke and Leia), she was devastated. She died (just as Anakin had foreseen) in child birth because she had "lost the will to live".

Padme loses the will to live because Anakin turns to the darkside and she cannot bear to see him as a sith. Ironically he turns to the darkside out of fear of losing her and in hopes of one day being able to save her from death.
