If I were in her place believe it or not would have done he same thing.But think Ashfur already attemted to kill Firestar, Lionblaze, Jayfeather and Hollyleaf. Maybe he should have been killed so he couldn't cause more trouble. Hollyleaf is held together by the Warrior Code. When she finds out her mother is a medicine cat and her father is from another clan her life is shattered as she thinks her birth was a mistake. She thinks after breaking the code many ways Leafpool should die. She couldn't see straight. She wanted to escape from everyone and everything. A way to do that is run into a flooding ,collapsing, certain death tunnel. That's what she did. I wouldn't call that evil. I would call that a mad cat.
