Inference
Well basically a investigation is when someone is trying to find out about something or someone while a experiment is testing a hypothesis and trying to get a conclusion
The first step is to decide on the purpose of the experiment. What is it that you are trying to prove or disprove.
This classic diffraction experiment was conducted in 1911.
It formally defines what you are trying to prove - and more important what you should try to disprove.
1. What is the structure and dynamics of the solar interior? 2. Why does the solar corona exist and how is it heated to the extremely high temperature of about 1 000 000°C? 3. Where is the solar wind produced and how is it accelerated?
This website is for asking questions. It may not have all the questions that you want answered, but it has users that can try to answer them. So, its trying.
have specific questions prepared about the company and the job you are trying to get; not ones that can be answered by yes/no.
You don't! I've been trying because I'm so ashamed of the questions I have answered
Questions like these are answered using medical ethics.
Are you trying to cheat on your scientific method questions? hahaha
This is an answer, thereby disproving the assumtion that questions about homosexuals are not answered. Although, technically, the question here isn't really about homosexuals but rather about the answering of questions. Still, as there are a VAST number of questions about homosexuals that ARE answered, the original question is somewhat moot. The poster should perhaps specify what question (or questions) he or she was looking to have answered. On a more general note, there are a LOT of questions here in the GLBT section that are not really answerable or worth answering, such as "Is So-And-So gay?" this being perhaps a classmate the writer is trying to mock (which is really just bullying) or perhaps a public figure, in either case the answer being unknown to anyone but the "So-And-So" in question. These questions are hardly ever answered and this is why.
The reason that some questions are not answered vary. Some questions can not be answered because there is no answer. Then, there are the questions that are not questions but statements so they can't be answered. There are questions that are written poorly and make no sense so they can't be answered. Some questions are questions that a person who is trying to be funny asks and they don't deserve an answer. Every so often there is a rude, crude, improper question that won't be answered but taken off. The site gets people who want to sell something they write the question and then put their web/blog site as the answer and these get removed. The people who answer questions on the site are volunteers and we are often "experts" in certain areas (just like in life) and there may not be someone who knows the answer so the questions sits until someone does the research ( yes, we do look things up) or knows the answer. Finally, just because a question is asked doesn't mean it deserves an answer.
The answer depends on what the experiment is trying to establish.
your dumb behind trying to answer questions for high school kids half your age... dummy..
You are trying to answer a problem or question and test your hypothesis.
The meaning of trying it on the dog is to carry out an experiment. The experiment is usually carried on something new, something that is yet to be used.
It depends on what sort of questions you asked. You have to wait for someone who knows the answer to come along and spot your questions. I will say this -- if it's a question you copied from your homework or another assignment, people are probably tired of seeing it and are ignoring it because either it's already been answered somewhere or they're just tired of people trying to cheat on their work.
