The reason that some questions are not answered vary. Some questions can not be answered because there is no answer. Then, there are the questions that are not questions but statements so they can't be answered. There are questions that are written poorly and make no sense so they can't be answered. Some questions are questions that a person who is trying to be funny asks and they don't deserve an answer. Every so often there is a rude, crude, improper question that won't be answered but taken off. The site gets people who want to sell something they write the question and then put their web/blog site as the answer and these get removed. The people who answer questions on the site are volunteers and we are often "experts" in certain areas (just like in life) and there may not be someone who knows the answer so the questions sits until someone does the research ( yes, we do look things up) or knows the answer. Finally, just because a question is asked doesn't mean it deserves an answer.
