In animal cells the two new nuclei go to opposite sides of the cell and a microfiliment is pulled tight around the cell until it is so tight that it cuts it in half. In plant cells a new cell wall is created in between the two nuclei. During nuclear division in animal cells centrioles are visible and cytokinesis is os furrowing type. In plants centrioles are not seen during nuclear division and cytokinesis is achieved by cell plate formation.
