A bond is when two or more atoms join in some way:
Ionic Bonding - When two charged substances bond with each other and cancel out the charge
Covalent Bonding - The sharing of electrons between atoms
Metallic Bonding - Electrons in a metal are shared by all atoms
There are more but I've only just started chemical bondings

The chemistry of ununoctium is not known.
The bond chlorine-hydrogen is polar covalent.
Ionic bond: sodium chlorideCovalent bond: carbon tetrachlorideMetallic bond: copper
A covalent bond occurs when atoms share outer electrons.
covalent hydrogen and ionic

Hydroxyl in chemistry stands for a molecule consisting of an oxygen atom and a hydrogen atom connected by a covalent bond (single bond).

I don't think it should be called carbon chemistry, if anything it should be hydrocarbon chemistry. It is because it involves anything with a C-H bond
The most common bond in inorganic chemistry is the ionic bond, which involves the transfer of electrons between a metal atom (cation) and a nonmetal atom (anion) to form a bond. This results in the attraction between the oppositely charged ions.
In organic chemistry, a line bond structure shows all the atoms and bonds in a molecule, while a skeletal structure only shows the carbon atoms and their connections.
