it depends on what you mean, or count as a guitar :)

there are many different types of guitar, and many different tunings for the guitar;

6 stringed, 12 stringed, baritone, 7/8 stringed, Bass Guitar

you could also mean the style of guitar

classical, dreadnought, jumbo etc.

acoustic or electric
