Best Answer

Things don't stand out in Irish cuisine in the same way as some things do in other countries' cuisines. However there are some dishes that are particularly associated with Ireland, most notably Irish stew. Coddle and Colcannon would be other ones. The use of certain vegetables in cooking is important, most notably the potato. Ireland is well known for the quality of its dairy products and meat products and bread products.
