the first leaf is in the room with the five holes (outside) and a monster inside them.
The second one is inside the castle. You have to beat all the enemies in the second room of the castle.
The third is in the castle too but you have to get through the castle and go to a room with a red monster and you will be trapped in that room until you beat the monster.
Fourth is outside in a room with a crow and a knight. Throw one of the two stones to the crow and defeat him.
The fifth is the easier to get. Is outside the castle too. Beat a knight in a room behind the castle.
In "The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening," you can find the five golden leaves in the Tail Cave area. They are located in the following spots: one is guarded by a Moblin near the entrance to the castle; the second is in the grass by the castle moat; the third is in a tree in the castle's courtyard; the fourth is hidden in a bush near the castle's back entrance; and the fifth is obtained by defeating the enemies in the castle's east wing. Collecting all five leaves will help you progress in the game.
Links awakening was released on the original gameboy. Links awakening DX was released as a gameboy color game. The only difference between the two is that DX has an extra bonus dungeon.
You should get Oracles of seasons the minish cap rather the links awakening.

Simple leaves would not have the petioles. The petioles are the 'stem' that hold the leaflets to the stem. Chestnut have compound leaves. What looks like five separate leaves are really five leaflets held together.
