Physical Fitness (PT) is an individual soldiers responsibility, the soldier must make sure that they meet the Army Standards. For a Units PT program it is the First Sergeant responsibility to ensure that their soldiers are conducting the PT during the allotted time and the Platoon Sergeants responsibility to create a PT program for their Platoons mission. Overall it is on an individual to make sure they receive the training they need to meet the standard.
