It's just a built-in part of their language that is harder for those learning French to understand.

As with any new contact between people speaking different languages, the English speakers and the French speakers did not understand the other group's speech initially. Gestures were important until they learned some of each other's language.

I think that,pupils in anglophone countries fail in french grammar as a result of language barrier.Pupils do not understand the french language used in the teaching and learning period.Also, they have made up their minds that french is a difficult subject to learn and a waste of time.
If you are moving to france it is a good language to learn because even though some people will know english other people will not. and you will also be able to communicate to someone on their language if they do not understand english you could translate it in french.
