In the end of the book series, Nate chooses Blair, and she is overjoyed while Serena is heartbroken. Even Gossip Girl said that Nate and Blair belong together. However, in the show, Blair ends up with Chuck, who is just a minor character in the books.
Serena intended to pick Dan, but Juliet pretended to be Serena and kissed both Dan and Nate to make them think that she was going to cheat on one with the other. In the flash forward in the last episode, however, Serena and Dan get married.
In the Book Series, Nate end up with Serena..!!
Dan
Well, in the first few books Blair, Serena, Nate,Dan, Vanessa, Chuck, and Gossip Girl her/himself were all seventeen. I'm pretty sure in the show right now they are either still seventeen or eighteen. Did I answer your question wrong? Did you mean how old is the girl who plays Blair Waldorf on the show? If you meant that, she's in her twenties.Ur W3lcom3!
Chace Crawford plays Nate Archibald. In the books he was known as the main character. He was seemingly a perfect match for Blair Waldorf in season 1 and best friends with Serena before she moved to boarding school. Later you find out they slept together. He was with Vanessa for a short period of time as well. He's still, even now sorting out his feelings for Serena.
No way! In the books, Chuck is a completely different character. I believe that he even owns a monkey...
Although the pilot episode was very much like the first book in the gossip girl series the tv show is very loosely based on the books in plot and story line. For example in the books vanessa is bald and chuck is bisexual and has a pet monkey the show shows nothing close to this. In the books Serena has a older brother names erica instead of the younger brother on the show. All of the story lines about the teens parents are a creation of the show.
Amazing. They are quite shallow but great for reading when you're bored and can't be bothered to read anything more challenging. They are quite amussing and will definatley have you thinking "OMG I do that!" and then cringing about it. They are easy to relate to even if you're not as privileged as Blair and Serena. It's just about being a teenager and they are quite realistic. Bookstores have stopped selling them to under 13s. Just a warning.
Blair's mother, Eleanor, is pregenant in the books. She has a child Blair names Yale.

He only kisses the man at the bar in the gossip girl t.v series because Blair needed him to. He does not come out as gay. He stays with Blair.
