Nick is both attracted to as well as somewhat repulsed by Jordan. He considers her dishonest on some level, but this does not in any way stop the attraction. Although she is definitely part of the "east end" set, Jordan has a detachment that almost makes her appear to be an outsider. Nick, though of the right class, is from another part of the country and as a result finds himself on the outside looking in as well. This outsider status, makes them allies of a sort and therefore, somewhat trusting and ready to share.
Nick chooses to share his thoughts and feelings with Jordan because he sees her as someone he can confide in and trust. He is drawn to her independent and non-judgmental nature, and feels comfortable opening up to her about his experiences and emotions. Additionally, Jordan is part of the same social circle as Nick, making her a convenient confidante in the midst of the events unfolding around them.
Because he loves her

To choose your feelings, make a conscious effort to do so. Make sure that you really understand the feelings that you are trying to achieve. You can also change your feelings.
It was his birthday
This dream merely expresses your own feelings about that particular boy. Your dreams only illustrate your own thoughts and emotions. They do NOT provide any information at all about anyone else's thoughts or feelings, and they do NOT mean that the boy is thinking about you. Moreover, the boy knows nothing about your dreams unless you choose to tell him - which might be rather embarrassing for you.

I don't believe that the book mentions the specific date, but we know that Gatsby was in his late twenties to early thirties during the book, so we can gather that Gatsby was probably born around 1890. I have no idea as to the specific date, choose one that makes sense to you.
that was his luckey number.
