It will be someone you've met by the end of Book 3". If I had to guess, and he stays with main characters, it would be Dr. John Dee's Dark Elder. If he goes outside the main characters, my guess is that it will be either The Witch of Endor or Billy the Kid.

The Warlock will be published in 2011 and my guess is that it refers to Josh*
