commercial
com=commercial (it used to mean that the .com sites were selling something... but it doesn't really mean anything anymore, since anyone can buy and use a .com address.
it mean you should not com to dis web site
It means "commercial", It is what we call a "top level domain" address, and it used to be a way for a web site to convey its publishing intent.
It sounds very confusing. What did you actually mean to write up there? A story should be about something interesting, not about dot-com and web-starts.
there is WWW for word wide web, but also WWZ.(domain),com what mean wwz ?
It is a web in exchange to the dissolved web: .com!!!
com means web address or cumershel.
I'm pretty sure you mean .com In this case .com would NOT mean communications or computer,Interestingly enough, .com describes that a web site has some kind of "commercial" intent. This is what we call a "top level domain" address, and it used to be a way for a web site to convey its publishing intent.
Cyclingpart-com is a blog web site. Their website link is cyclingpart. com
In the past, when the World Wide Web was first established in 1989, web sites were categorized into different top level domain addresses. .com was one of those addresses that let visitors know that their web site had some kind of "commercial" intent - an intent to make some kind of profit through the Internet. Today, a .com domain name doesn't mean your web site has to have commercial intent. Restrictions have been dropped and Internet registration authorities basically allow almost anyone to have a .com address. A .com address is no different, technically, from the other top level domain address such as .org or .biz etc. As the World Wide Web continues to grow and expand, new domain names (like .info and .shop) will continue to crop up to respond to that growth as current domain addresses run out.
I think this is free web directory
