He's definitely not shy, remember how he has major charisma and was a high-ranking officer in the Army. He's only perceived as "shy" because mainly the Twilight books are from Bella's perspective and when she's around Jasper, he keeps his distance. But, when they're alone,I'm sure he's not like that. then why does he not seem to talk so much?
