A two stroke engine has half the strokes of an otto (or four stroke) engine, therefore it takes two crankshaft roatations to complete a cycle on a four stroke engine and only one revolution in a two stroke engine. There are several types of two stroke engines, the different types have to do with how the receive the air/fuel mixture, also you have two stroke diesel engines.
The main bearing caps hold it in place.
There is no separate compression stroke on a 2 stroke engine, but there is compression - the intake and compression take place on the same staroke, the intake on the first part and compression on the later part.
you would be able to put a gsx-r 1200cc engine in it. hope that helps! haha
The same place on any motor, the crankshaft is in the bottom of the engine. It is what the bottom large pulley is attached to and runs back to the transmission.
chemical (burning of the gas) to mechanical( the cylinder pressure turning the crankshaft).
to get more aire flow though the block.
Main bearings are between crankshaft and main journals (engine block), rod bearings are between connecting rods and crankshaft and thrust bearings ensure crankshaft does not slide horizantally between journals they hold crank in place.
You have to remove the engine first from the car. Place it on an engine stand and work your way on removing the cranksaft. No way to remove it while the engine is in the car.

You will need to remove the front driver's side wheel and jack the car up first. Now open the hood and remove the serpentine belt on the engine. Remove the crankshaft belt next and then remove the splash shield that is located inside the wheel well next to the engine. Unscrew the bolt holding the crank pulley. The round ring you see is the crankshaft seal. Remove this with a pry or screwdriver and then place the new crankshaft seal in its place.
Look at the engine on your lawn mower. If the engine has an oil filler tube or a "hole" with a cap on it where oil is added to the engine, it is a 4-cycle (4-stroke) engine. If there is no oil filler tube or place to add oil to the engine, then it is a 2-cycle (2-stroke) engine and the oil has to be added to the fuel.
