The 1960's saw a period of short wedding skirts become popular during this time. It is thought of as a decade of "rebellion" for women when they began to have a mind and dressing style sense of their own and grew out of their traditional long dresses. The "mini-skirt" was introduced at this time and it was socially and revolutionary accepted.

Neon clothes first became popular and fashionable in the mid to late eighties. They have started to make a come back since 2012 and are available in most clothing stores today.
Boys fashion usually included pants and short suits, button up shirts (that were usually tucked into pants), vests (for more formal occasions, worn as an accessory to another outfit) and coats. Girls fashion included a lot of dresses and skirts which (in this era) were being shortened. The main goal was to get it to be as short and seductive as they could get away with. Also, big breasts were not fashionable in this decade. Anybody with bigger breasts tried to squash them down to look smart. The girls liked to cut their hair short and wear bead necklaces. Backless dresses were also very fashionable for evening wear.
