All the matters we used are chemical one way or other, because all matters are composed of basic elements or its mixtures or combinations of elements. The groups of chemicals used most in our daily life - and to support life are (1) Water - one of the most important part of life. (2) Air - Oxygen responsible for respiration and support to life. (3) Carbohydrates, Protein and Fat, Food part - provides energy to support life. (4) Fibres - Natural like Cotton and wool, Synthetic like Polyesters, Nylon, etc. for cloths and other needs. (5) Fuels - our everyday energy requirements to run vehicles, cook food, and so on. The list can be endless, but I think this is sufficient to start you thinking in new direction.
