Learning about different religions has brought to my attention many things including the tendencies of our human race. - We all assume ourselves to be right. - We like others to believe us right. - We fail to come to terms with the phrases "all-powerful", "capable of anything and everything", and "nothing is impossible for {name of deity}" even when we use them ourselves. - Tolerance doesn't necessarily mean agreement. - If a person is absorbed by their religion, that person tends to be very tolerant; if a person is religious but hasn't fully accepted it, that person tends to be among the least tolerant. - So often we look at the details and ignore the greater picture.
