If you are worried about rules and how good you are at keeping them then you may be a man-pleaser and not a God-pleaser. You will please yourself and not God.

Of course you won't read the Bible if you don't believe it and love the author of it. Nor should you read it if you are a hypocrite and just out to show off what you know.
