In what ways should Christianity stay the same as it was at its beginnings?

I think that this could be best answered if the question read "In what ways should the Christian Church stay the same.......?". This would then center everything on the church rather than the people. If you would accept this slight change then I would answer-

1. The church would have but one God who is God the Father.

2. That God sent His son Jesus the Christ to earth to atone for the sins of mankind.

3. The Holy Spirit confirmed to mankind the truth of the first two answers.

4. That these three be referred to as The Godhead, thus doing away with the false doctrine of

The Trinity.

5. That the church have but one set of scriptures to be taught from. My sugestion would be the KJV of The Bible.

6. All costly apparel be done away with, and Sunday best be worn by all who attend church.

7.That tything be part of the way to fund the churches expences.

8. Unless retired from working all men should work for the upkeep of their families. Tything will not be used to pay for the clergies upkeep. The only exception to this rule will be those who are employed by the church, such as full time cleaners and all those who are employed as employees. The clergy it is a Calling and not a job.

9.That all lessons will be the same world wide on the same day of the same week regardless of time zones.

10. All members of each church will have a common vote in the calling of certain officers who will fill certain positions in that particular branch of the church.

11. This will include those members of the First Presidency and all other high officials who will, under the direction of the Holy Ghost administer to the needs of the church.

12. Where possible every member will hold some calling to help run the local church. This will include all youth organizations.

13. Members will be assigned certain responsibilities to maintain cleanliness of the local church. Professional workers called in when necessary.

14 The churches will not be used for political campaigning, but may be used to accomodate people in the case of emergencies.

15. Missionaries will be called, where possible, to serve missions from all branches of the church.

16. The church will bare the name of Jesus Christ and no one else.

I have no doubt that many may argue some of these sugestions, but they are only sugestions. Most of the ideas I have taken from the small denominations. Some however may point to the larger ones, this I could not help.
