YES,they can but they should be treated nicely
no, teddy bear hamsters are very territorial and will fight the other hamster.
pink becuase it bings out the colour
Hamsters hide in their houses in their cage or under their bedding.
Teddy bear hamsters are Syrian, so don't put them in the same cage. But I have both types, boy and girl. They get along perfectly (though not in the same cage). Every hamster's personality is different. In the same cage- it may result in fighting and death. So be careful!
No!They'll fight to death! NEVER put 2 differnent types of hamsters in one cage NEVER!
No teddy hamsters and dwarf hamsters cant stay together
yes but it is very diffcult and you would need expert experience if not then you are really lucky
A teddy bear hamster needs a big cage because they are active and curious animals that require space to explore, exercise, and exhibit natural behaviors. A larger cage also allows for the inclusion of toys, tunnels, and enrichment items to keep the hamster mentally stimulated and happy. Additionally, a spacious cage helps prevent stress and promotes overall well-being for the hamster.
Syrian Hamsters will kill and eat a gerbil, do not put them together in the same cage.
I would say and dwarf hamster any kind there cheaper and they wont chew the bars of your hamster cage they are really cute. but do not get two and try not to let them escape your hands. They are really fast runners that's why i got the teddy bear hamster because they come in cute colors and they don't bite as much and you can get more than one. =)
In the stores they do have more than 2 in a cage. I would just be careful. I had a teddy bear hamster and added a short hair a while after and the teddy bear hamster chased the short hair around and eventually got used to them. Be careful though they may fight
Yes. The wires in the cage have gaps too small for a dwarf hamster to fit through. The cage is good for dwarf hamsters.
