I'm figuiring this out as I'm typing. But, here are the five answers I have, tobacco, John Smith, John Rolfe, Pocahontas, and Chief Powhatan. I have tobacco because when John Rolfe found tobacco it was a huge success. I also have John Smith because he made a rule when he became leader who does not work does not eat. I have Pocahontas because she saved the leader John Smith. Lastly I have Chief Powhatan because he agreed with his daughter and to spare his life.

Jamestown started out with a charter, meaning that a company in this case The London Company owned them. In the first year they did not establish agriculture or a village because they were too busy looking for gold. John Smith helped to bring settlement to the colony. Tobacco ended up being their choice of agriculture and trade made possible by John Rolfe, who married Pocohontas who later changed her name to Rebeka. In 1624 the colony went bankrupt and the king of England had to take it over as a royal colony.
John Smith can be described as resourceful, ambitious, and determined. He is known for his strategic thinking, leadership skills, and ability to navigate complex situations effectively. Additionally, he is often seen as a charismatic and influential figure in various endeavors.
John Smith? Maybe you mean Joseph Smith. Joseph Smith was the first modern prophet of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (commonly called Mormons). He didn't take over from anyone, he was the first. Technically, Joseph Smith took over from the ancient apostle, Simon Peter, who was with Christ in His ministry. This is why it was Peter, along with James and John, appeared to Joseph Smith and who conferred the rights of the Melchizedek Priesthood Keys upon the head of Joseph Smith, because they passed what they then held in their own possession at Joseph's time, upon him.

(1580-1631). The story of the life of Captain John Smith, as told by himself, reads more like an adventure novel than like a true autobiography. He was baptized on Jan. 6, 1580, in Willoughby, Lincolnshire, England. In about 1600 he ran away from home and, traveling through France and at sea, survived some fantastic adventures. Then he fought in the war against the Turks in Hungary. After being captured and sold into slavery, he escaped to Russia. In 1605 Smith joined an expedition that was preparing to go to America to found the colony of Virginia. During the voyage he was accused of conspiracy and he faced hanging. He was kept under restraint until after the expedition reached the James River. Then it was discovered that he was one of the councillors appointed by the Virginia Company in England to govern the colony, and the conspiracy charges were dropped. Soon the incompetence of others forced him to take charge of the Jamestown settlement, and he issued the famous order, "He who will not work shall not eat." He traded with the Indians to supply the colonists with corn. While in Jamestown Smith was captured by hostile Indians and brought before their chief, Powhatan. As a warrior stood ready to club Smith to death, the chief's daughter Pocahontas embraced him and persuaded her father to spare his life. The truth of Smith's account of his rescue, however, is in doubt. In 1609 Smith went back to England. In 1614 he charted the coast of southern Canada and the area he named New England. On a return voyage the next year he was captured by pirates, and he returned to England penniless. He spent much time in writing, and, though his works are not fully reliable, they provide much information about the Jamestown settlement. Smith died in London in June 1631.
