When Zwingli was appointed to the post of "Peoples priest" in the Swiss city of Zurich. Under Zwingli's leadership, the Reformation spread from Zuriich throughout Switzerland. Not all Swiss cantons, however joined Zwingli in the Reormation. But several was between Swiss Protestant and Romanist did little to alter Switzerland in anyway.
