Ravenpaw left for Barley's barn at the end of Into the Wild.
Ravenpaw was more suited to being a loner than a clan cat, and although he did miss them when they left, he realized that his place was not with Thunderclan.

A Dangerous Path
In the "Warriors" book series by Erin Hunter, Purdy does indeed join ThunderClan. Purdy is an elderly loner who eventually becomes a member of ThunderClan after being invited by Firestar, the leader of ThunderClan at the time. Almost all of them, except Longtail (Firestar told Longtail that he was to young to be left behind). As soon as they got to the new Thunderclan camp, Mousefur requested to become an elder, which she was granted.
