You need to know some chemicals that are dangerous to mix together; for instance, Clorox bleach or such as a scouring cleanser for whitening tubs and toilets etc. and ammonia should never be mixed together because of the strong fumes they will cause and could cause a person to pass out or become ill. This is only one example.

Because understanding chemistry helps you to understand the world around you. Cooking is chemistry. Everything you can touch or taste or smell is a chemical. When you study chemistry, you come to understand a bit about how things work. Chemistry isn't secret knowledge, useless to anyone but a scientist. It's the explanation for everyday things, like why laundry detergent works better in hot water or how baking soda works or why not all pain relievers work equally well on a headache. If you know some chemistry, you can make educated choices about everyday products that you use.
particles(states of matter)
The four classical divisions of chemistry are organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, and physical chemistry. These divisions help us understand different aspects of the substances and reactions around us in everyday life, such as the composition of organic compounds in food, the properties of inorganic materials in household products, the analytical techniques used in testing water quality, and the principles of physical chemistry in cooking or brewing.
Well without chemistry we wouldnt be able to advance in life we would still be stuck in the old age. With chemistry we were able to create technology such as cellphones, laptops, tvs, etc. Chemistry is around us everyday and without the things we have now wouldnt continue to work. ( THIS IS JUST MY OPINION OF WHAT CHEMISTRY IS SO I HOPE YOU ALL LIKED IT ... IM NO PROFESSIONAL AT CHEMISTY BUT I WAS STILL ABLE TO COME AND GIVE YOU GUYS THIS INFORMATION) :)
i would say chemistry
Tantalize, tantalate (used in chemistry, not often in everyday speech).
see we use chemicals everyday to clean or to color with marker. more chemistry means more cleaning products and more colors.
