Indiana is an "Employment at-will" state. This means that employers may fire an employee for any reason, so long as, the reason is not due to the employee's age, sex, race, religion, national origin, or disability. If you believe you were dismissed for one of these reasons, you should review your options with an attorney in Indiana. As a paralegal, I cannot provide legal advice. It is always a good idea to discuss your options with an attorney.
