The indole positive test is used to test the absence or presence of the vibro cholera.
i have no clue
The bacterium that causes and spreads the Cholera disease is Vibro Cholerae.
Sulfur Indole Motility test
Vibro cholerae is the name of the bacterium that causes cholera. It is a pathogen, it is a prokaryotic cell. It open carrier proteins in the small intestine which causes a loss of water potential which causes chloride ions to rush in to the blood stream which causes dehydration and diahorrea. Vibro cholerae is usually treated with tetracycline, an antibiotic. vibro cholerae produces an entro-toxin. it is this entro toxin that is the cause for the opening for the carrier proteins.
Indole test,Proteus vulgaris is be indole positive and Citrobacter freundii will be indole negative
this test is done to determine if bacteria can breakdown the amino acid tryptophan into indole
The indole test is a biochemical test performed on bacterial species to determine the ability of the organism to split indole from the amino acid tryptophan. This division is performed by a chain of a number of different intracellular enzymes, a system generally referred to as "tryptophanase."
I dont have any answer, But i will post it when i will know . No change in color or reaction on Indole Test - Negative result on Indole Test.
The difference between vibrio and pseudomonase is that the pseudomonas are opportunistic pathogenic bacteria while vibrio are nonsymbiotic bacteria.
S.aureus is a positive gram. Indole test is a part the biochemistry test to determinate a bacteria negative gram. indole test used to determine S.aureus, the result is negative. That is improve which S.aureus haven't trytophanase enzym (please see indole test principle)bcb
Cholera is caused by the bacteria called as vibrio cholerae. These bacteria are excreted in very large number in loose motion of the cholera patient. These bacteria are transmitted through contaminated water and by flies, at times by hands to other people.
Used to test prescece of Indole in medium
