Its nice that you and your father are close but in the end it is your relationship and you as well as your husband are to decide what is best for the both of you. If you find your father is trying to talk you into leaving simply be honest with him and tell him that you appreciate his caring but you need his understanding right now and to let your marriage be up to you and your husband to please stay out of it unless you come to him for advice which in this case if your close and you have done so then that would indicate why he is offering his two cents.

I wouldn't call it so much betrayal as the fact your husband needs to grow a backbone! He's allowing his daughter to control your lives and his ex to be an enabler of the daughter's behavior to cause problems in your marriage. Tell your husband to settle this now or you are leaving! He should have enough respect for you and realize he is no longer with his wife and his daughter needs to get herself a life.
