Pasta is done with wheat flour, eggs and water.
Ravioli are usually filled with fresh ricotta and spinach.
A lot of side dishes in Italy are made of vegetables, seasonal ones. Eggplants, zucchini, mushrooms, artichokes, lettuce and salads in general.
Meat is often roasted and sometimes stuffed. All kinds of meat is used in Italian cuisine, like veal, pork, chicken, rabbit.
Fish is very used too, usually small shaped ones.
