After changing batteries and moving the clock the outside temp still does not register. could the remote have goe bad. It has worked for years.

Not sure what you're needing to do. But to set up the clock and the outdoor temperature sensor, make sure the batteries are new for both. Put the batteries in the outdoor sensor first. Wait to see the temperature reading on the sensor. Then put the batteries in the clock. In about 15 minutes the outdoor temperature should show on the clock. Do not set the clock until the outdoor temperature is displayed. You can set the clock manually, or set the button on the back to atomic so that it will automatically receive the time.
i set my Sharper Image atomic clock model LM521 and it works for several hours but then the time changes to several hours off. clock is plugged in wall and has batteries. no ower surges, etc.

uhm i dont think you can set an alarm clock, but you can have a clock on your zune. go to settings and scroll till you see clock, click 'show clock' to yes and set the time to either 12 or 24 hour setting then set your time
