Trabeculae
trabeculae
The Cancellous, or spongy bone is made of Trabeculae, which are thin rods or plates of bone that often run in the same direction as the stress applied to the bone. Stress on the bone may be in the form of gravity, or it may occur due to common force applied to the limb. Which can ultimately cause weakness in your bones.
Poles or Rods
Sensory nerve cells called rods and cones are found in the Retina.
They are simply called the Control Rods!
The bundle of rods (with an axe inside) was called a fascis and it was carried by a lictor.
Napier first published the "rods" in a book called Rabdologia in 1617.
chromosomes
An eye. Rods and cones detect light and colour.
Rods and cones are inside a layer of the eyeball called the retina.
There are two types called rods, which a simply sensitive to light and dark, and cones which are sensitive to colours. Both types are found on the retina but the rods dipsersed evenly over the surface whereas cones are concentrated on an area called the fovea.
Metal rods and pins/screws as far as i know but im sure theres more
Rods and cones are in the sensory components in the retina of the eye. They are essential to the sense of sight.
