The IH Strike of 79, Started with the, Im pretty sure VP from Chrysler coming over. He wanted workers, working more for less pay. So they Striked. When they finally reached an agreement, it was too late. The Scout Production Was killed on Oct. 21, 1980, and in 1985, IH sold their AG division to tenneco. And all this came from a strike.
