Magnet sticks to another magnet when north pole of the first magnet approaches the south pole of the second magnet.
well i would first start with two medium sized poles of wood and spreed them out about 4 ft apart then stick them in the ground take a metal pole about 3/4s of a foot and stick them into the top of the pole.
Of course! But obviously only if it is cold outside. Anything that is wet and warm will stick to a frozen pole!
Smoke pole, bang stick, thunder stick.

No, the North Pole and South Pole are not the same. The North Pole is located at the top of the Earth, while the South Pole is at the bottom. They are opposite ends of the Earth's axis.
The idea that the Earth itself acts as a giant magnet was first proposed in 1600 by the English physician and natural philosopher William Gilbert. He was also the first to define the North Magnetic Pole as the point where the Earth's magnetic field points vertically downwards.
