What schools teach pedorthics in Canada?
There are three schools in Canada offering pedorthics education. University of Western Ontario and Canadian College of Pedorthics offer identical programs leading to a Diploma in Pedorthics (DPed). National University of Medical Sciences offers a Master of Science in Pedorthics. All three programs approximately take about one year to complete. Graduates of these schools are eligible to join the College of Certified Pedorthists of Ontario and upon passing the board exams become certified pedorthists (CPed).

How Can you Become a Certified Pedorthist in Canada?
To become a Certified Pedorthist (CPed) in Canada, one must first study pedorthics at an accredited school. Upon graduation from a pedorthics school, one can apply for membership to the College of Certified Pedorthists of Ontario (CCPO). Upon successful passing of the oral, practical and written examinations of CCPO, the designation of CPed (Certified Pedorthist) is awarded to the applicant. Currently there are only three postgraduate schools in Canada offering pedorthics education. They are; Canadian College of Pedorthics, University of Western Ontario and National University of Medical Sciences.
