Great Plains
Nebraska, Kansas, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, and Oklahoma are states in the Central Plains. Cities include Des Moines, Jefferson City, Oklahoma City, And Topeka are cities in the Central Plains.

The North Central Plains (often called the MidWest) are the heartland of America. The region lies between the Ohio River and the Great Lakes and stretches to beyond the 95th meridian. Included are eight states: Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, and Missouri. The states that border (not boarder) it are: Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Kkentucky, Arkansas, the corners of Tennessee and Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota and North Dakota.
Florida is on the coast and Kansas is on the central plains and inland.
Northern Plains is the part of the US Great Plains located north of the Missouri River in Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska and northeast Kansas.
The Northern Plains extend as far as Montana and Utah, so they are further west than the Central Plains which are in Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas.

Tornado Alley is located on the central plains of the United States, extending north from Texas, through Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nebraska, to South Dakota and Iowa, and including parts of western Missouri and southern Minnesota.
South Dakota and North Dakota are in the North-Central Region and the Mid-west Region of the US. They are also located in the Great Plains Region.
